Newent Town Council is developing proposals to secure the long-term future of the historic cemetery chapels, lodge and wider heritage landscape.

Following feedback from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Council is seeking the views of residents, community groups and other interested parties to help shape future proposals before any decisions are made.

The cemetery remains an active place of burial, remembrance and quiet reflection. Any future proposals must respect its historic significance while helping to conserve these important heritage assets for future generations.
